As Co-Owner of The Dog Social Newport, she has helped shape a grooming environment focused on both professional excellence and genuine connection with each pet.

Having owned and successfully run her own grooming salon and daycare, Katie also offers valuable behind-the-scenes expertise. Her strong understanding of both pets and clients allows her to support not only grooming excellence, but also the overall experience and operations of the business.

She’s excited to bring her dedication and experience to the Newport community. At home, she is proudly owned by Maze, her 7-year-old Border Collie mix.

She originally trained in professional dog grooming in Dubai before moving to Sydney, where she has become an invaluable part of our team. Melissa brings both experience and reliability to every groom, always prioritising the wellbeing and comfort of each dog.
